Encompassing more than 377 acres, Winter Place Park is Wicomico County's largest park facility and is broken into four components. The first of which is many wooded acres providing fantastic walking and cross country trails. A picturesque community park makes up the second portion. And the Winter Place property is also home to the Wicomico Equestrian Center and the East Salisbury Little League. This park is accessed easily from Route 50 and the Route 13/50 Salisbury Bypass.

Fun Facts:

• Built in 1968, the Wicomico Equestrian Center (formerly Winter Place Farm) was the most opulent horse farm of its time. This facility was written up multiple times in publications like Sports Illustrated and the New York Times and hosted countless equine champions.
• Each April, Winter Place Park is home to the Pork in the Park Barbeque Festival which is one of the ten largest barbeque competitions in the United States, sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. In 2007, this event drew more than 15,000 visitors to Winter Place Park
